Locked and loaded! The legendary run-and-gun series returns to its roots with Contra 4 for the Nintendo DS. Developed to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, this intense action game brings back classic heroes Bill Rizer and Lance Bean to fight the alien Black Viper. The gameplay utilizes both screens to display massive vertical levels, forcing players to use a grappling hook to navigate through relentless enemy fire. With its punishing "old-school" difficulty, dual-screen boss battles, and an arsenal of iconic weapons like the Spread Shot, this title demands precision and reflexes. Grab a friend for local co-op action and prove you have the grit to survive the alien wars.
