Experience a lost Super Famicom treasure with Rendering Ranger R2 Rewind for the Nintendo Switch. Originally released only in Japan in extremely limited quantities, this side-scrolling action game is a technical marvel developed by Manfred Trenz (creator of Turrican). Players control the special forces soldier "Double R," blasting through apocalyptic stages that alternate between run-and-gun platforming and intense horizontal spaceship shooting. This modern release via the Carbon Engine includes the unreleased PAL version "Targa," along with quality-of-life features like rewind and save states. With its stunning pre-rendered graphics and blisteringly fast gameplay, it is a must-play for retro action enthusiasts.
