Hit the gridiron for some classic 8-bit football with Super Challenge Football for the Atari 2600. This early sports simulation brings the basics of American football to the pioneering Atari console. Players control their team, selecting from simple offensive and defensive plays, and then guide their pixelated players on the field. While graphically very simple, it offered one ofthe earliest interactive football experiences, challenging players with basic strategy and arcade-style action. Super Challenge Football is a nostalgic relic from the dawn of console sports gaming.
