Team up with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy in Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U. This action-adventure game, a tie-in to the Sonic Boom animated series, sees the heroes battling the ancient villain Lyric. Explore vast 3D environments, utilize each character's unique abilities and a new "Enerbeam" tether mechanic for combat and traversal, and engage in both high-speed running sections and brawler-style combat. With its focus on cooperative gameplay and exploration, Rise of Lyric aimed to offer a different kind of Sonic experience with a distinct visual style.
