Solve gritty crimes in the city's underbelly with Jake Hunter Detective Chronicles for the Nintendo DS. This visual novel adventure introduces players to the hard-boiled private eye Jake Hunter. You must investigate three separate cases—including a murder in a park and a missing person mystery—by searching crime scenes for clues, interviewing witnesses, and interrogating suspects. The game features a distinctive noir atmosphere, complete with jazzy music and a "smoking" mechanic where Jake lights a cigarette to think through the evidence. Use your deductive reasoning to uncover the truth hidden in the shadows. Crack the case and serve justice, detective style.
