Witness the tragic origins of a legend in God of War: Ascension for the Playstation 3. This prequel to the iconic series explores the very beginning of Kratos's journey, before he became the Ghost of Sparta. Experience a deeply personal story of vengeance as Kratos, tricked by the gods into killing his family, seeks to break his blood oath to Ares. The game features the series' signature brutal hack-and-slash combat, epic boss battles, and, for the first time, a deep and engaging online multiplayer mode where you can pledge allegiance to a god and battle for supremacy.
