Venture into a sprawling, dangerous labyrinth in Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight for the Nintendo 3DS. This challenging dungeon crawler RPG offers two distinct ways to play: a robust Story Mode featuring a fixed party of developed characters, or Classic Mode, allowing you to build a custom guild from scratch. The core experience relies on the franchise's signature cartography mechanic, requiring players to meticulously map out complex dungeons using the bottom touchscreen. You must engage in highly strategic, turn-based combat, utilizing the powerful Fafnir transformation to vanquish terrifying monsters known as FOEs. With deep character customization and punishing but rewarding gameplay, this title is a masterclass in classic dungeon exploration. Draw your map, assemble your party, and brave the mysterious depths.
