Engage in a battle of wits and power in Archon: The Light and the Dark for the NES. This classic strategy game plays like a fantasy version of chess, where two opposing forces, one light and one dark, battle for control of the board. When two pieces meet, the game transitions to a real-time combat arena where you directly control your creature to fight for the square. It's a unique and timeless blend of turn-based strategy and arcade action.
